No. We we only rent the crates. Our plastic crates makes it really easy to pack, move and unpack!
If you do need moving or loading services, We're an affiliate with HireAHelper to find and use local moving services.
You can... but why deal with all the headaches? We know all about moving and we know that you've got a lot of things to do for your upcoming move and having to hunt for cardboard boxes is not something you want to do! Want to jump into a dirty dumpster? Want to meet that creepy "box hoarder" from Craigslist? Want to beg a grocery store employee to "Get you a few a boxes from the back?". Probably not.
Let's say that you do manage to get some cardboard boxes... did you know that they could carry bacteria and bed bugs! That would be fun in your new home! You have no way of knowing who put what into a used cardboard box, so why risk it?
Our crates are hand cleaned and sanitized when a customer returns them each and every time. We only use biodegradable cleaners and high pressure steam.
Being able to reduce and reuse saves the planet. Recycling is great and all but it takes a lot of energy and some cardboard boxes (if they have a lot of tape of glue) can't even be recycled. They will end up in a landfill. Our crates can be used forever... well... for a long time.
The dimensions are: 27″L x 17″W x 12″H. Our crates are a great size for packing and moving your household items such as books, clothing, decorations, etc...
Yes. You (or another person) over the age of 18 needs to be home to accept the crate delivery.
Take look on the ORDER page and you'll find that we've created packages based on how many bedrooms. You can also add individual crates to your order after you've picked your crate package. If you're kind of a hoarder (hey, we're not judging) you should get a couple extra.
We'll try and accommodate your request but we cannot make any guarantees. Our best advice is to order some extra creates if you are not sure. if you do get stuck and need some more just call us and we'll try and work it out.
Nope. As long as you are in one of the LOCATIONS we cover there is no fee for delivery or pickup... as long as you live on the ground floor or your building has an elevator. If we need to carry the crates up stairs there will be an additional $19.99 fee.
Our Crate Moves trucks deliver and pickup crates Monday - Saturday between 7am and 4pm. You'll notice that when you ORDER CRATES you can specify the date and time that works best for your move.
If you are located in Fall River, we might be able to arrive before 7am... contact us to see if this is an option.
You'll also receive a text message by 6pm the day before your crates arrive confirming we will be dropping them off.
Place the labels on the side or top of the Crates on the TEXTURED areas. Please DO NOT put the labels on the smooth finish of the crates.
No. Our crates do NOT need any tape or glue. We include zip ties with your ORDER to securely lock your crates.
Yes. When you ORDER CRATES you can add up to four additional weeks to your order. If you need longer than that please contact us for reduced rates and availability.
Yes. We completely understand that things get messy when moving! The kids are going crazy, the weather is not cooperating and traffic is terrible. We get it. To change the delivery / pick up date please contact us as soon as possible. We might not always be able to accommodate your request but we will work with you to figure out a solution to your problem.
Well, every order includes ONE free delivery and ONE free pick up but if you need more than one that will be a $25 fee for each instance (depends on availability).
Yes. Movers LOVE moving crates (as opposed to cardboard boxes). You can save lots of money on the movers as well, because once you pack your items into the easy-to-carry crates you are just paying the movers to physically move them.
Yes... however this depends on driver/crate availability. Your best bet would be to contact us and see if we can work it out.
Yes, although we offer free delivery and pick up, customer pick up arrangements can be made. Please give us a call and we can discuss the details.
As long as you cancel MORE than 24 hours from your specified delivery time... we will give you a full refund.
If you cancel UNDER 24 hours from your specified delivery time, there will be a $25 cancellation fee.
Yes, It is the customer's responsibility to remove all labels from the crates. Removing labels keeps unwanted cleaning fees away.
Please Do NOT wright on crates! Always use the provided labels. Our crates are reusable and we need to keep their condition pristine.
